The Beloved Ball of Ice is Back!

Believe it or not, it’s true! Pluto has been officially re-instated as a part of our beautiful solar system as of April 3rd, 2015. To celebrate Pluto’s return to our family of planets, the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum is hosting a welcome back event, and you’re invited.

There will be a presentation on the history of our beloved ball of ice, followed up by an exclusive Livestream from NASA’s New Horizon’s Satellite. During the Livestream everyone’s favorite astrophysicist, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, will be narrating the livestream and answering your questions.
